Web marketing is about motivation, discipline, and persistence. These are qualities that most all entrepreneurs possess already. But, like me, the last thing biz owners want to do is work ON their business. You see, biz owners would rather work IN their business helping others and of course make money while doing so. Working IN the BIZ is fun, working ON the BIZ, is well – work. Which is why the montra previously stated is so important, because it takes that same intensity and commitment, to work “ON IT”.
Web marketing is about “working ON your business”. Web Marketing is what I am all about. I teach business owners to take control of their web marketing in easy to understand language. As much as I hate working on my biz too, most keen biz owners will agree, that “working on it, get’s you in it”. Promoting yourself can IGNITE that attraction factor that gets you in to the conversation. If you can not attract customers to YOU, with your present web promotional efforts, you do not have a web marketing plan that parallels your overall business plan. If your web presence does nothing for your business, then what you need is guidance from a pro who eats this stuff up for a living.
My past interactions with successful web marketers have taught me this real simple fact,…”you get out if it, what you put into it”. If you do not have a web strategy that complements your business plan in this day of new age web marketing, your promotional efforts are going to be for naught…a waste of money….period. I know companies that have spent 25k on websites that do absolutely nothing for them. Don’t be that company, hire a professional web strategist.
