I am going to turn it down a bit and present things in easy to understand components, in a drip, drip, drip fashion.

I have always taken things apart to discover how things work. I don’t know why but I deconstruct everything. I will stop in the grocery store aisle facing the many products on the shelf, soften my eyes to take it all in and then analyze what messages are working and why. I do this to postcard mailers, websites, billboards, magazine covers, product packaging, web videos, email newsletters, squeeze pages…and so on and so on. I am a marketing critique junkie. My passion for online marketing feeds my passion to discover what works and what doesn’t. I will be deconstructing my web marketing approach so you can take a peek inside and see why I do what I do, and how I do it. My goal is to nourish you with small drips of information over a long period to help you soak it all up and apply your newly gained knowledge to help you gain more business.

A well rounded web marketing plan involves a set
of realistic obtainable goals. These goals are divided into 3 parts.

YOUR WEB MARKETING PLAN is to “funnel” the viewer from step 1 to step 3. You most likely already do this successfully; offline – or you would not have a successful business. The key is to create a synergy between your company’s offline marketing plan while implementing the available and easy to use web tools. There are books and blogs written about the tactics used to attract, engage and convert web viewers into customers, and I will certainly show you “the game inside the game” of each in detail in my future posts. But for now let’s stick to the basic mindset that you must have a plan with some defined goals, and the first goal is to ATTRACT a viewer.

If you can not attract viewers (traffic) you do not have a website. See my next post on how… “Attraction is a must in online marketing”.
